Information we collect
We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect names, addresses or payment details. Standard web server logs record the IP address, browser user agent, referring page and timestamp of each request, which we use for security and aggregate traffic statistics. If analytics is enabled, it records pseudonymous page views, scroll depth and clicks on outbound links.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies may be set for two purposes: measuring aggregate site usage, and attributing an affiliate referral so the merchant knows the visit came from this site. Affiliate cookies are set by the merchant or its network, not by us, and are governed by that party's own policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the editorial content of the site works without them.
Affiliate tracking
When you click a product link we may append tracking parameters that identify this site as the referrer. This tells the merchant to credit us with a commission if you buy. It does not transmit your identity to us, and we never receive your payment details or order contents.
Third parties
Outbound links take you to merchants such as Amazon or a manufacturer's own checkout. Once you leave this site, that party's privacy policy governs what is collected. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, third-party data practices.
Data retention
Server logs are retained for a limited operational period and then discarded. Aggregate analytics figures are retained without any means of identifying an individual visitor.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of personal data, and to object to processing or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because we hold no account data, most requests amount to asking us to remove log entries. Contact us through the address in the footer and we will act on valid requests without undue delay.
Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site changes. The current version is always the one published on this page.
